So we will admit it, we’re a little nervous about our first North East Expo.
But this is nervous in a good way.
I went to my first Expo this time last year and I have to say I was blown away. My initial thoughts were that it would be an event where you can have a wander round and have chat with a few businesses. I studied the floor plans, (to my surprise there were three floors) and made notes of the businesses that I wanted to see. I had to be back in the office later that day as I had things to do so I thought I would allow myself 3 hours and this was to include travelling time from Hexham.
Nevertheless I was there for 5 hours! I drank so much coffee, ate too many biscuits but the whole event was fantastic! The variety and sizes of businesses in attendance, all making new acquaintances and chasing leads. It was a sight to see. I have to admit we made some good contacts from the event too.
So I made the decision walking away from the Expo that I would exhibit at the event and so it may have taken slightly longer than planned, but we are going.
We’re not quite sure what to expect but we are going to make sure we have an early night and bring our pack lunches with us too. It should be a really good event and we are hoping to make lots of new contacts, give away tonnes of business cards and also see if we can help any businesses who are thinking about using video.
I’ve got to mention that we have also rebranded!
A huge thanks to the team at Perro, we think our new branding looks great and for putting up with us. We also have to say a huge thank you to Robson Print for organising all our new print work!
We on the first floor at GS21 so if your coming along to the Expo make sure you come over and have a chat with us (we’re bringing popcorn too) and watch some of the latest projects that we have made.
Very interesting points you have mentioned, thanks for posting.Blog range
