Corporate Video Training: Learn To Make Professional Business Videos On Your Smartphone
You do not need expensive kit. You do not need a production crew. You do not need to be naturally confident on camera.
You need to know what you are doing.
Most business owners who avoid video do not avoid it because they lack the ideas. They avoid it because every time they try to film something it looks wrong and they do not know why. The framing is off. The lighting is harsh. The audio sounds like it was recorded in a bathroom. And watching it back is painful enough to put them off trying again for another three months.
The problem is not the phone. Modern smartphones shoot genuinely excellent video. The problem is nobody ever showed you what to do with it.
That is what the Visual Punch corporate video training workshop fixes.
A half day or full day with James; thirteen years in professional video production, who will show you and your team exactly how to use what you already have to create video content that looks credible, sounds clear, and gets used.
No jargon. No complicated equipment. Just practical, immediately applicable skills you leave with on the day.

Why Most Business Owners Never Get Comfortable Making Their Own Video
The intention is always there. The follow-through is not.
Here is what usually happens. You decide you are going to start posting video. You prop your phone against something, press record, and watch it back. The background looks messy. You sound awkward. The lighting makes you look like you are being interrogated. You delete it.
You try again. Same result. You tell yourself you will get some proper equipment first. You research ring lights and tripods for an hour. You buy nothing. Another three months pass.
The issue is not equipment. It is knowledge. Specifically:
You do not know how to frame a shot. So your head is in the wrong place and the background is distracting.
You do not know how to manage lighting. So you look either washed out or shadowy depending on where you are standing relative to a window.
You do not know how to handle audio. So you sound distant or there is background noise you cannot identify.
You do not know how to hold yourself on camera. So you look uncomfortable and that discomfort reads to the viewer.
You do not know what to say or how to start. So you freeze, stumble through a few words, and convince yourself video is not for you.
None of these are insurmountable problems. They are learnable skills. The workshop teaches all of them, practically, in half a day or a full day.

Who The Video Training Workshop Is Right For
Business owners and founders who want to create their own content. You are the face of the business. You want to be showing up on LinkedIn and social media with video. You have tried and it has not worked. One workshop and you know how to do it properly.
Small teams who need to produce content regularly. Your marketing is handled in-house. You need the whole team to be able to film confidently and consistently. The full-day workshop gets everyone to the same level in a single session.
Anyone who has bought a ring light and a tripod and still not filmed anything. The equipment was never the problem. The knowledge is. We fix that.
Businesses that are not ready for a full production retainer but know they need to show up on video. You are not at the stage where outsourcing your video production makes commercial sense. But you also know you cannot keep avoiding it. The workshop is the right starting point.
People who are serious about video but terrified of the camera. The workshop is not a one-hour overview. It is a practical session where you actually film things, watch them back, and get coached in real time. By the end of the day, the camera feels different to how it did at the start.
Why Learn From A Professional Video Producer
There are a lot of YouTube tutorials on smartphone video. Most of them cover the theory without the practice and leave you no more confident than when you started.
The workshop is different because it is practical, personal, and built around what you specifically want to make.
James has thirteen years in professional video production. He knows what makes video look professional and what makes it look amateur — and more usefully, he knows how to explain the difference in terms that are immediately actionable rather than technically overwhelming.
The workshop is not about teaching you to think like a videographer. It is about teaching you enough to stop the thing that is currently stopping you. The framing issue you keep getting wrong. The lighting problem you cannot identify. The on-camera awkwardness you cannot shake.
One session with someone who does this professionally is worth considerably more than six months of trial and error on your own.
FAQ section
Do we need any equipment before attending?
Just your smartphone. We work with what you already have. If you want to discuss whether a specific piece of additional kit would be useful for what you are trying to make, we can cover that during the session.
Can the workshop come to our premises?
Yes. We come to you. The session takes place at your office, your workspace, or any location that makes sense for the type of content you want to be filming. Filming in your actual working environment is often more useful than filming somewhere unfamiliar.
Is the half-day right for one person only?
The half-day rate of £397 is per person for an individual session. If you want to bring two or three people but not a full team of six, talk to us — we can discuss a rate that fits.
What happens after the workshop?
You leave with a practical reference guide covering the key points from the session. You also have two weeks of follow-up support for questions that come up when you start filming on your own. We want you to actually use what you learned.
Do I need to be confident on camera before attending?
Absolutely not. Most workshop attendees are not confident on camera. That is one of the things the session specifically addresses. You will practice on camera during the workshop and get coaching in real time. By the end of the day it feels different.
What level of experience do I need?
None. The workshop is designed for people who are starting from scratch or have tried and struggled. If you have some experience but want to improve specific things, we can tailor the session accordingly.
What if I want more support after the workshop?
We are always happy to talk about ongoing support. If after the workshop you decide you would rather have video produced professionally than continue making it yourself, we can discuss the Content Drop, Social Impact, or full production retainer options. No pressure, but the option is there.
Can the full-day workshop accommodate more than six people?
The full-day workshop is designed for up to six people to keep the coaching practical and individual. For larger teams, talk to us — we can discuss running multiple sessions or an adapted format.
