You’re better than the firm that keeps beating you. Your market just can’t tell yet.
30 minutes. No slide deck. You leave with a sharper way to explain what you do, whether we work together or not.

Be honest. How many of these sound like last month?
A prospect asked what you actually do, and you heard yourself give the long version again.
You lost a pitch to a firm you know is worse than you. Their website just made more sense.
A warm referral looked you up online and went quiet.
Your LinkedIn has gone silent because nobody has time to work out what to post.
You paid for a video once. It looked lovely, got posted once and changed nothing.
If even one of those stung, you’ve got the same problem as most of the firms I work with. It isn’t a camera problem.
Most B2B video fails for one boring reason
Nobody decided what the video was for.
A company books a shoot, gets a nice looking film back, posts it once, and nothing changes. The lighting was fine. The music was fine. The message was mush.
The filming was never the hard part. The hard part is saying what you do, who it’s for and why anyone should pick you, in a sentence a busy buyer remembers. Get that right and the filming becomes simple. Get it wrong and no amount of production polish will save it.
That’s the gap Visual Punch exists to close.
Strategy. Messaging. Video. In that order.
What staying unclear is costing you right now
None of it shows up on a spreadsheet. All of it shows up in the bank.
The pitches you should have won
Buyers rarely pick the best firm. They pick the one they understand fastest. Every time a competitor explains themselves better than you do, you lose work you were the right answer for.
And you never hear about it. They just don’t call back.
Your best hours, spent explaining
You and your team tell the same story on every call, in every proposal and at every networking breakfast. Over and over.
If your content told that story first, prospects would turn up already half sold.
Prices set by the cheapest quote
When a buyer can’t see the difference between you and the next firm, the only thing left to compare is price.
Clear firms charge what they’re worth. Unclear ones get squeezed.
What changes when your market finally gets you
Four things change. None of them are about cameras.
You know exactly what to say. A strategy session pins down what your market needs to hear and what only you can say, before anything gets filmed.
You explain your business once. The person who plans it is the person holding the camera, so nothing gets lost between the brief and the edit.
You stop wondering what to post. Every filming day is planned to give you a run of content, not one film that gets posted once and forgotten.
You get a partner who sticks around. Grundfos has worked with me for over 13 years. That only happens when the work keeps earning its place.
Grundfos sites in America now use the induction film we made in the North East as the template for their own. Here's some of the other work.

30 minutes. No slide deck. No pressure.
"I’m terrible on camera"
Almost everyone says this. Almost everyone is wrong.
Michael at ROAR Digital said it. He now knows exactly how to talk to a camera and, more usefully, when to stop talking and listen. That didn’t come from a personality change. It came from a process, a few sessions, and someone in the room who knew what to ask.
Being good on camera is a skill, and it’s one of the quicker ones to pick up. My job is to make the day feel like a conversation rather than a performance. Most people finish their first shoot surprised at how much they enjoyed it.
Why I do this
I started Visual Punch in 2013 because good smaller businesses were getting ignored by the big production companies and badly served by the cheap ones.
Thirteen years later, the pattern hasn’t changed. The businesses I work with are usually excellent at what they do and surprisingly poor at explaining it. They make everything clear for their clients and then go quiet about themselves.
So that’s the job. You make everything clear for your clients. I make you clear to the market.
I work out of the Toffee Factory in Newcastle and film across the UK. If you’ve been reading my posts, you already know how I think. The call is just the version where I think about your business instead of mine.
What happens after you book. No mystery.
1. The Clarity Call
30 minutes. We work out what your business needs to say and whether video is even the right answer. Some people leave this call and go and fix their website first. That’s a fine outcome.
2. The plan
You get a written recommendation with the content, the filming days and the cost laid out. You know exactly what you’re buying before you commit to anything.
3. The work
We film, we edit, you get content on a schedule you can actually keep up with. Then we look at what performed and do more of that.
Already know what you need filmed? Skip the call. Request filming here and I’ll come back with a plan and a price.
Three ways in, whatever stage you’re at
From a single content day to an ongoing production partnership. Whichever fits, you’ll have a written number before you commit to anything.
Content Drop
One day. No commitment.
A half day or full day shoot that produces 50 or more photos and 10 to 20 short video clips, delivered the same day. The fastest way to fill a content calendar and see how we work together before you commit to anything bigger.
What is included: A half or full day on site, edited photos, and 10 to 20 short video clips delivered the same day.
Best for: Filling your content calendar fast, or trying working with me before committing to anything bigger.
A Single Project
Fixed scope, fixed price.
A brand film, a recruitment video, an event, or a case study series. Priced as a project, not a day rate, so you know the number before we start.
What is included: A defined deliverable, scoped and priced up front: a brand film, a recruitment video, an event film, or a case study series.
Best for: A defined deliverable with a fixed budget and a clear finish line.
A Production Partnership
Monthly. The scramble stops.
Ongoing content across your business, planned a quarter at a time. This is where the compounding happens, and it’s where most of my long term clients end up.
What is included: A planned run of content each quarter, the exact mix built around what your business needs to say next.
Best for: Businesses ready for content to compound, and for the scramble of one off shoots to stop.
Not sure which one fits?
That’s exactly what the Clarity Call is for. Tell me where you are and I’ll tell you which one makes sense, even if the answer is none of them yet.
The questions people ask before they book
How much does this cost?
Projects generally start around the low four figures and partnerships start monthly. The Price Guide breaks it down properly, and you’ll have a written number before you commit to anything.
Is the call just a sales pitch?
No. You get an honest read on how your business comes across and what I’d do about it. If video isn’t the right answer, I’ll tell you and point you somewhere better.
Will this work for a business our size?
I work with single office consultancies and global manufacturers. The method doesn’t change: get the message right, then film it. Only the scale does.
How long does a project take?
Most projects run four to six weeks from first call to final delivery. Content Drop days are delivered the same day.
Do we have to be on camera?
No, though it usually helps. Plenty of the work I do relies on the business itself rather than talking heads.
Where do you work?
Based in Newcastle, filming across the UK. Roughly half my work is outside the North East.
What if we already have a marketing agency?
Good. I work alongside agencies regularly and I’d rather plug into a plan that already exists than fight it.
What happens on the Clarity Call?
I ask about your business, your market and what you’ve tried already. You get an honest read on whether video will move the needle for you. If it won’t, I’ll say so.
You’ve read this far. Something on this page hit home.
30 minutes. No pressure and no slide deck. Worst case, you leave with a clearer way of describing what you do. Best case, the next firm you pitch against is the one wondering what happened.
